Semi-arid areas continue to face drought and famine threats which affect the basic core of humanity. Women and children are the worst affected because they have limited options of dealing with the hunger. As a result, a substantial number of children drop out of school to seek for survival means. This means that they opt to do manual works, whilst others become targets of social predators hence early childhood marriages, pregnancies, sexual abuse and drugs cases. As an intervention measure to curb the danger and secure their education, we provide school feeding to contain the children in school. We feed lunch daily to 250 pupils respectively in Miwani Primary School, Ganda sub-location, Kilifi CountyJoin Us!
Education is one of the most basic needs highlighted in the UN SDG and vision 2030 respectively. However, it is marred by a lot of controversies and soaring school fees that locks out a lot of students especially from underprivileged background. The most affected are girls because they are vulnerable and easily fall prey. Mafanikio recently re-introduced this programme to support vulnerable students from difficult backgrounds. We are currently sponsoring 5 students respectively.Join Us!
